Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I return an item once purchased?
A: Sure! Anything can be returned for any reason within 30 days with a receipt. Credit card and cash sales will be refunded in the same manner as payment. Check sales will only be refunded after 14 days to give the check time to clear. Store credit can also be given. All returns without a receipt will be made in store credit.
Q: Do you make everything you sell?
A: I wish I had that much time! No, some of the items sold in Sparkle! are originals by me and my terrific staff. These are generally tagged with the Sparkle! tag. We also sell handcrafted items made by many other artisans as well as some manufactured items.
Q: Do you do custom orders?
A: All the time. We can work with you to design a piece for that special day or dress, a matching pair of earrings for a necklace you already have or even redesign an existing piece you have. We can also change out earring wires to different metal or styles or make them into clip-ons, change the length of necklaces and so much more. Just tell us what you want and we’ll show you the possibilities!
Q: Do you do repairs?
A: Yes, in many cases. I can repair broken beaded strands and many other broken jewelry items. We do not solder precious metal jewelry and we do not repair fine jewelry or gemstones. The best thing to do is bring it in and let us have a look – we’ll tell you if we can fix it or not and give you a price estimate.
Q: Do you teach classes, do parties or Girl’s Nights Out?
A: Yes, yes and yes!! Check out our classes here. We will also specialize a special birthday party activity or girls night out workshop or class just for your group of 3 or more. Prices will depend on the class and activity. Private classes are also available for 3 or more people. Call us or come by for details.
Q: How do I put jewelry I have made into your shop?
A: Sparkle! is not a consignment shop, but a retailer who purchases wholesale directly from artists and artist reps. We only purchase from artists that are in the business of making and selling jewelry, meaning they have obtained a business license and a tax ID, etc. It also helps if you have sold wholesale in the past and can give references of other boutiques you are in. If you have a line of jewelry that you think would be right for our shop, you should first take a look in the shop to be certain we don’t already carry a line like it. If all other criteria are met, give us a call and schedule an appointment to meet. Be sure to bring samples of your pieces along with wholesale pricing and any marketing materials you have. We are always on the look out for a new, unique product that is unlike anything else we carry!
